  • wasnt it the documentary that was on BBC?

  • There was a song on this documentary when Alan McGee was talking about working for British Rail...I don't know if it is Orange Juice or The Wake....I know it's a long shot, but would anyone know what the song is? Cheers :)

  • Cracking documentary. Alan McGee sounds like he was an absolute nutter in the early creation days.

  • Really need to see this as I love most of the bands featured! Maybe its just me but I find modern bands like The kooks and The Wombats boring! 80s and 90s those were the days

  • Only one mention of Slowdive. Obviously they still McGee is a twat? Ha ha. Good on 'em. Anyway. Mother, should I run for President?

  • Sorry. But am I blind but did the dickheads forget to mention Slowdive? One of the best bands ever to come out of this tin-pot outfit!

  • @rayolacer agreed. i'm an american but i love the british indie labels along with rough trade and creation. british indie was it.
