Birthright Jan '10 Slideshow Bus 315

It occurred to me the other day that is had been just over a year since my Birthright trip to Israel. Although time in its "physical" sense does not move slower or faster; to the human perception, time can seem to fly!

I would not have known at the time, but my trip to Israel was probably the most life changing trip I had ever been on.
1) Long flight together
2) Jerusalem, Golan Heights, Dead Sea
3) Riding Camels...
4) Meeting 50 amazing people... priceless....

It is true what they say, you can't put a price on friendship, and you can't put a price on experience. Being able to fly to Israel and experience what we all did, as like an extended family, was both breath taking and awe inspiring.

I would like to say that I am still here, in Jerusalem, Israel, because of my amazing experiences that I had with everyone on my Birthright trip.

This slideshow is dedicated to YOU! My friends, my Birthright family. The music is from The LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring: The Fellowship. I liked this piece because it opens softly as though welcoming in all. It moves to a crescendo of strings and horns, before softening off once more. The end of the piece leaves a feeling of openness towards the future; something which lies before all of us. I think this song embodies all of us and our trip. It was a fellowship between us all; something that we will all share for the rest of our lives. No time before had I met people like I had, and experienced so much in such a short time.

The slideshow progresses from our first day through to the last. I added some more photos from after our trips such as: Masada, Caesarea, some more locations in Jerusalem.
