I just love the romance in this, when John Wayne grabs Maureen O'Hara and the wind is blowing. One of the greatest movies ever made!

I;ve never seen this film but read the plot on wikipedia. What is going on in the scene, where are they and why is she running away from her husband in the scene?

@sazeneyes They weren't married in this scene. O'Hara's character snuck into Wayne's cottage to clean it up for him while he was gone. He caught her and that's why she was running away. This is the first scene that they actually speak to each other. They've shared affectionate glances in a few scenes before, but in this scene they actually exchange words.

@coolkid1234533 Someone did post it and it got removed. They claimed copyright of these clips I uploaded, but they're still public. I guess they don't mind short clips as much as they do the entire movie. They want people to purchase the movie instead. Sign up for a netflix account and have it mailed to you, or wait until it comes on TCM.

that's a nice kiss! don't they act like school kids throughout this movie?

um, I guess you could say they do to a certain degree. You see them act like "school kids" mostly during the courting portion of the film.
