The song is written from the perspective of the wife of a miner who is dying of asbestosis, and I've heard that it was based on a newspaper article that a wife of a miner had written. Please correct me if this info is wrong. :)

Anyways, it's such a beautiful song, and I think Kate Fagan does it justice.
