  • pppplease help me! i have a 83 subaru gl and i want to lower it. is there any way to do so without cutting the springs?

  • @donvitolover182

you can get custom springs, or use the cheep Ebay coilover sleevs. or do a custom coilover setup. with the 83 you will most likely have to convert to 5X100 lug to use most setups.

  • hey i also have a subi gl and i wanted to drop in a wrx sti engine did u have to do alot of mods to put the engine in?

  • @therpot

no the engine drops right in as long as you have a turbo crossmember. and the trans crossmember will bolt right up if you can find a good XT6 crossmember...

  • This is an old video. my car now has a 2.5l enging and a 6 speed. it is now at 306AWHP and 335AWTQ.

check out my websight w w w suberdave com that may answer some of your questions...

  • I fucking love that exhaust sound. what is it?

  • im jealous, i wish my loyale was like this

  • Very cool old school suby!

  • very nice car! id love to do this with mine but i have no money at all.

  • I've had a couple GL wagons like urs and have always thought about the WRX swap. What did you use for suspension and drivetrain, WRX pieces with a custom driveshaft? I'm really curious about the wheels cuz I know the stock bolt pattern is impossible to find custom wheels without adapters or the 6 lug conversion. Awesome car, it's a great inspiration to what is possible for old Subies...
