I tried running couple with without music and heard my shoes scream in pain, as my 230+ body smashed them into the asphalt. I also heard little girls asked their mom, " Is that fat man going to die?" as I wheezed by them. I heard the hills of san fran laugh at me, because the knew they cracked me. This is why I listen to music.

Great video! I do find I'm very distracted with music when I'm running a race, but on my training runs, I use music. I also think it depends where I'm running, I don't want to listen to traffic, but if I'm running on the bike path, then I want to listen to "nature". Thanks for sharing!
