Obama Policy A Violation of Federal Law

On Friday, 05/01/2009, Rush Limbaugh read Andrew C. McCarthy's letter to Attorney General Eric Holder. Mr. McCarthy rejected Attorney General Holder's invitation to participate in, and be used as a prop by the Obama administration in the May 4 roundtable meeting the Presidents Task Force on Detention Policy. He stated in the letter that, " the meeting will obviously be used by the administration to claim that its policy was arrived at in consultation with current and former government officials experienced in terrorism cases and national security issues. I deeply disagree with this policy, which I believe is a violation of federal law and a betrayal of the presidents first obligation to protect the American people. Under the circumstances, I think the better course is to register my dissent, rather than be used as a prop".
