Beijing Under Attack! - Chinese New Year Fireworks

The first fireworks woke us up at 7:45am and they didn't stop until 3am the next day. This is just a random 5 min clip (the only one I took), but I kid you not it was like this the entire day, nearly 20 hours, non-stop fireworks and firecrackers. This is the view from our balcony of a small part of Beijing north 2nd ring road. Our (20 min) walk to dinner this night was just incredible, being surrounded by the firestorm of fireworks in the main streets.

Turn up the volume (you don't even need to watch!) to really get a feel of what it's like... without the colors, you'd think Beijing was under attack.
