http://www.faziosmusic.com Dave Anderson of Fazio's Fret and Friends in St Louis doing a nice demo of the wonderful new GarageTone Axle Grease Delay pedal from our good friends down in Sprin Hill. You won't believe your ears when you plug into the ultra-affordable GarageTone "Axle Grease" Delay. Although it utilizes a hybrid digital/analog circuit, the tone is all analog delay. Warm, natural sounding echos, whacky space effects when you turn the Delay Time knob, self-oscillating capabilities... it's all in the GarageTone Axle Grease Delay! Check it out on-line at http://www.faziosmusic.com/pdshop/shop/item.aspx?itemid=878

  • @theShowStopper321 He does, watch around 3 mins ...

  • Analog?

  • @theShowStopper321 im not sure what you mean by "oomph" in this case. also ive never played a delay with a pre-amp so i wouldnt know. and ive only heard an echoplex, never played it or heard it in person. this delay is just pretty basic and does a decent job. ive actually traded it in and got a memory boy which i regret because it colours the tone. sounds really great for clean stuff though. i was going to get this one back but ive actually just gone to using reverb these days.

  • I wish this guy would turn it off, and then turn it on to compare dry to wet..

  • @timmy47 Does it add any oomph to the sound like the older echoes with a preamp ? I wish they would make echo stomp boxes with the built in EP booster like an Echoplex.

  • yeah david gilmore signature in the background?

  • i A/B'd this against a bunch of delays and some well known, and quite good ones i might add, and picked this one. actually sounded more analog than some actual analog delays. and like he said, it doesnt colour the tone like i found some delays to do. i was stuck between this and the boss delay actually because it sounded good and had more functions. but they were functions i would harldy use anyway so i went with this which sounded just as good, but for less.

  • nice for the price..i'm getting that pedal soon
