Daughtry singing this song makes alot of sense. He usually sings sadder songs so him covering AIC makes sense. I just wish the rest of the band would have performed as well live to truly make it memorable. He is still the only American Idol contestant that I have ever liked. I always watch that show and hope but nothing ever comes out of it.

Errm yea he has a good voice the only lead singer that should be in alice in chains is Layne staley. My fav band but the fuckers need to get over it and change the name of the band cause it's some bullshit

All i can say is any one who has a good voice can sing this song for one reason it is a masterpiece written and performed by one of the most influential singers ever.Its sad that people don't give him the credit he deserves although he would not have wanted it!

True that. Chris Daughtry in Alice in Chains would be the best band ever, since Alice in Chains is my all time favorite band. This is also my favorite Daughtry cover.
