well, when i listen to this, i would say the SMR-4 sounds more smooth ... and by the way you can always get a cem3379 between 16 and 20$ on Ebay .... keep your eyes open

@BoBSwanS Thank you for the answer! At the beginning i wanted to build a shruthi cem3379, like the one that you have, but when i saw the price of that chip i decided to try with the digital fx filter board! The cem3379 is Too expensive! In addiction i coulden't find a new one, they were all used with a starting price of 40$!!! I already own a shruthi dual SVF and i'm really Pleased with is performances! I'm really Curious to See the vid with ableton and tHe vst panel! I look forward to Seeing it!

Hi! Interesting test man! I would like to know if you ever had the possibility to try a shruthi with its standard board, the SMR-4, and if you have noticed much differences between them! Thank you and cheers!

@longdivision87 Hey man, No i have not tried the SMR-4 , Most people on the Mutable forum seem to prefer the SMR-4 though. This is a "Build of the month" they sell them pre assembled, I am going to post another video of me running it in ableton with a vst panel that someone from the forum created , I can control the majority of the parameters with my Novation nocturn,Its a lot of fun
