@themansou1 Dude, good call... Funny you mentioned that, the first couple times I heard Flaming Telepaths I felt like I knew the chorus from a TV commercial or something like that... it was probably making me think of the chorus of As which may have featured in some fast food commercial or something like that at some point.

@1RONSTER714 "And the joke---"

with this is there any wonder my minds on fire?

Somebody tell Bill Barteyll that BOC doesn't stand for racism and fascism. Indeed, if you're a true fan you wouldn't stand for reprehensible Whiyte Flag polityks. The joke's on you, buyt it's not so funny, brayh.

Stevie Wonder with the song "As" completely stole the chorus of "Flaming Telepath" written by Blue Oyster Cult

@Bloodwrath9650 I dunno about an explanation, but it is the full ending of the song. I think the transition from this song to "Astronomy" is great. The constant repetition of "and the joke's on you" kinda gives the listener this "trapped"/"doomed" feeling, then suddenly you escape into the wide-open ambiance of "Astronomy."

@Bloodwrath9650 Because on the album. the next track starts as soon as this one finishes. It makes sense when you hear it. Excellent album by the way.

Anyone explain abrupt ending?

These guys are the most awesomely under-rated band in the entire history of rock. Fuckin' Phenomenal!! Dark, fantastic lyrics combined with masterclass composition and virtuoso performances place the BOC firmly in the pantheon of TRUE ROCK GODS!
