Shads 2002 Lusitano and Sueno 2006 Pure Spanish Portuguese. VIDEO TAKEN AFTER training time and they where allowed to roll so are dirty (well the two year old stallion is extremely dirty!)Both Stallions (Brazil and Spain) imported by Swan Creek. They will be standing for live and shipped semen in 2009 with a few foals sired by Suieno being due in 2009 as well. This foals will be Palomino, Buckskin or Smoky Black from Purebred Andalusian, TB, Arab, Belgian, QH as well as part Welsh, Percheron/paint and 1/2 andalusian mares. Shads turns 6 in November, and Sueno 2 in March 2008. Shads was sold to us as being measured July 28 2007 by the seller at 15.3 and " Most likely he will will end a little above 16 hands. " Shads came into quarantine then to us measured at 15+ hands ( not measured on hard ground). However, he is the perfect height and very few if any Andalusians in North America are truly over 16.1 hands. I am 5`8 and Shads` back is level with my chin, Sueno is eye level. So 60 1/2+/- and 63 inches at the wither. Perfect height for all disciplines as well as large enough, more then large enough for a 6`2 hand rider. These measurements are barefoot with no added length to the hooves which does make a difference. We will be up loading more video in the future of these two once they work perfect in hand and are hitched to the cart. It is impossible to get video when working any horse , let alone two stallions, if one hand is on the camera! Proper training is more important then taking video when working any horse. Please note: We have been raised with work horses all our lives (born into and from horsemen) and have been training horses since 1982. Working two breeding stallions at liberty is not some thing we promote or encourage anyone to do without many, many years of stallion and horse training experience.AGAIN, THIS IS AFTER TRAINING TIME. AS ANY ONE KNOWS TO VIDEO WHILE WORKING HORSES IS JUST PLAIN STUPID AS BOTH HANDS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READY...FILMING ONE HANDED WHILE WORKING ANY HORSE, LET ALONE TWO STALLIONS SHOULD NEVER BE DONE AS YOUR FULL ATTENTION SHOULD BE ON WHAT YOU ARE DOING, NOT MAKING SURE HORSES ARE IN FOCUS.
When WE are ready will post new video up.We will not rush just to please a few people people.
wow you have such gorgeous horses! I want to breed my mare to Shads now! :) Good luck training!

Thank you. Some people think harness training stallions should be as quick as training 2 mares/geldings.We don`t rush but go about it calmly,as we do all our horses.Worked Sueno & our senior stallion Merlin today.Once both perlinos are working well single & double with Merlin & our 1 mare we will hitch them together. But complete control with voice comes first:)I don`t take video while working as I want all attention on what is being trained. LOL. Shads would LOVE that breeding!Take care.
