TD you are leaving out one very large and important part of Genesis. Not only did God rest and ceased from His work but the Bible goes on to say that He BLESSED and SANCTIFIED the seventh day. And there was not a Jew in existence at that time so it is not for the Jews. Further Jesus said it was made for MAN not the Jews. Hebrews 4:8, 9 (NB in the greek it is Jesus and not Joshua) is a bombshell to the argument of change from Seventh-day Sabbath to Sunday Lords day.

Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. I will debate anyone who says the Sabbath is done away with.

@XjmedX There has been given to ALL humanity, a NEW Covenant. Not of works, but of Grace. In this Covenant, everyone can be saved who BElIEVES The Gospel of Jesus. Even if they never have heard of a Bible, or a Sabbath day , or anything to do with Jewish History, or any history at all. It is ONLY by Grace that ANYONE shall be saved . The law YOU have WILLFULLY broken ALREADY, and there is NO forgiveness for willful ,knowing sin. . If you knew the law, you would know that..

@jimthigpen333 No one kept a sabbath? I guess that YHWH set it apart after the creation for no good reason. YHWH's intructions always have existed. It is why Cain and Abel were making offerings, why Noah was instructed in clean and unclean and why Abraham was called a friend of Yah.

@XjmedX I know what the law states. The law was given 430 years after the promise to Abraham. No one kept a Sabbath until that time. There was no law.It states that on the seventh day Yahowah finished His work and rested. Jesus comes along and says His Father was still working, and had sent Him to"finish His work." The last thing Jesus said on the cross was, "it is finished". That Sabbath in the law , was just pointing to this age of salvation by Grace only, not works. Jesus did it all .

@jimthigpen333 My brother read Deuteronomy 13 so you can sse what I mean. Anyone who teaches against the law of YHWH is not ot be obeyed. Simple. So if christians say Yeshua did away with the law then they will not obey him. Simple.

@XjmedX Wrong. The so called Jews don't believe, because their is a veil over their eyes put there by YAHOWAH Himself because of their unrepentant hearts. NO ONE "accepts" YESHUA anyway unless YAHOWAH allows it.Salvation is not in believing the scriptures, but, by being born a second time. That is, that The HOLY SPIRIT of YAHOWAH Himself is IN you. The scriptures were NEVER given to save, but to tell you ABOUT THE SAVIOUR, JESUS HIMSELF !!!
