model made from plans in model engineer magazine.DATED 19TH JUNE 1987 Cylinder machined from old cast iron mrk4 cortina rear brake cylinder. Displacer regenerator consists of 24 aluminium discs each with 5 holes in and seperated by small brass washers

  • Do you know which issue this model was featured in the magazine? It is awesome ad quiet as it should be!! Congratulations!

  • You are not supposed to hear it , no bangs and bumps with good bearing should run as smooth and quiet as silk, the quieter the engine the more efficient no energy wasted in making noise.
