What a country- one group of Americans saying no to another group of Americans that have no health care. good thing we did not act that way during WW2. no public plan!!!!!!! SHAME ON AMERICA, SHAME ON THE RIGHT

Agree U.S. healthcare is "jacked up" (good phrase); but need to address "urban myths"... Congress doesn't get free medical, and never did... except while on active military duty. They get the same entitlement as any/all Federal government employees: The Federal Employee Health Benefit Plan (FEHBP), which is s menu of private insurers and HMO health plans... bargained on the basis of a large pool (some 2-or-so mlllion), which gets them a very good rate.
NOT free, by any means. Not happenin'.
