OMG! The Drop of Water story has haunted my dreams since I was a child. Saw it on Creature Feature which was a Saturday night show that played old horror movies. Mostly Lon Chaney, Boris Karloff and Bela Lugsi. All this time I kept remembering it as black and white isn't that odd? When the dead old lady gets up and floats across the floor for her ring...my hair still stands up when I think of it.

1960s horror classics - what great entertainment - they dont make them like they used to! Thanks for sharing Monster4josh!

Mark Damon was also in a very atmospheric and creepy adaptation of The Fall of the House of Usher, made around the same time by Roger Corman. Can't understand why his voice is dubbed in this, though.

I'm busy posting the original European edit, with original score and sequencing...stop by and compare the films (I TRE VOLTI DELLA PAURA vs. BLACK SABBATH). You'll notice some resemblance, but they quite different at the same time--especially the "The Telephone" segment, and Karloff's monologue.
