  • @CasperCee you could get a pc with the same specs for $400.

  • @laddierandomguy I bought my 21.5" Imac for $800. It's got a3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4 GB RAM, 600 GB Hard Drive, loaded with Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.8. I bought this about a year ago. No crashes or re-boots yet.

  • @laddierandomguy I bought my Mini-Mac at Christmas for $700. It also has a 2.4 GHz Intel Dual Core processor, 1066 GHz frontside bus, NIVIDIA GeForce graphics processor, 230 GB hard drive and also loaded with Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.8

Both have wireless keyboards and a magic mouse.

  • @laddierandomguy To match Apple's $2,799 MacBook Pro 17 with 2.33 GHz Core 2 Duo processor, you would have to buy a Dell XPS M1710 with Vista Home Premium and then supe it up to compete with the MacBookPro. The total cost of tricking up a Dell to meet compete with the MacBookPro - $3,495.

  • @laddierandomguy

To upgrade from Mac OSX Snow Leopard to Mac OSX Lion, it would cost me $29.99. To upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate Edition for ONE computer would cost $220. You could upgrade 7 Macs for the price of upgrading ONE PC.

  • @CasperCee pcs cost more to upgrade? what? macs are like 1200 dollars for a decent one, and pcs are 300 for a good one! wtf are you talking about?

  • @laddierandomguy PCs cost more to upgrade for twice the problems.

  • @GeekTechMac 99% of software is designed for windows. if something breaks in your pc, you can replace it. pc is just as easy to use (in my opinion easier) than mac. pc is customizable. pc can play WAY more games. pc is a third of the price. you can get a pc with better specs than a mac for half the price. do i need to say any more?
