When should you use the word "will"? And when should you use the expression "be going to"?
It depends on whether you are talking about a future plan, a prediction, or willingness.

In English, there are many ways of expressing future time. One of the most common is the "be going to" construction.
“Be going to” is usually used when something is already planned or definite. The simple future (will), however, is used when we decided to do something in the moment of speaking, It is also used when talking about actions which are part of a schedule or program:
