From writing to filming in two weeks, 20 full-time MBA students at the Kellogg School of Management produced the first LipDub by a U.S. business school to Kenny Loggins' "Footloose." The entirely student-led effort included a cast of 70 as part of the annual song-and-dance sketch comedy event written, directed and produced by Kellogg MBA students, "Special K!"
The cast learned their parts, rehearsed, and were filmed as a single, continuous shot in less than 3.5 hours on a Sunday morning -- we needed to get back to studying!

This '03 Kellogg alum (and on campus recruiter) is proud of y'all. But no cameo by the new dean??? Next time I want to see you all managing up and getting the profs on film. Surely Mommy Hennessy, Diermeier, Mazzeo, and Rogers would at least wave at you. Hope this is going to be used for Day at Kellogg. Way to grab the first mover advantage.

@karenylee The LipDub will be shown at DAK II, this Saturday at 3PM. Time was a factor: with only 2 weeks to plan this one, I think next time around we can put in more effort to recruit profs and deans, and they will be happy to participate.
