This song is from the 12 Fantasies by Telemann. I don't think I'd played this one before and I REALLY need to find more music to actually PRACTICE flute BAD. Here's tonight's flute mood-inspired song! (Also, a picture of Baby (the bunny!) with a Gemeinhardt flute-- picture from July.)

I'm wondering if anyone can give me a little advice on my playing. I've noticed that I do something with my throat (I've noticed this over the past few years but didn't find it a bother enough to do anything about it) when I play and it can be heard in some of my sound clip. I KNOW it can be heard in the 'movie' video and I'll make another video that may help, too. Thanks!

  • You said you needed pieces to practice. Fantasie Pastorale Hongroise by Franz Doppler is a good piece that I am making. Others include: Bwv 1013 Partita in a minor by J.S. Bach, Cantabile et Presto by Enesco, Vals or Waltz by Gadar, Density 21.5 by Varez... If you have any trouble finding these message me your email and I will send pdfs to you.

  • :O

  • @teichiboy

Yes you can. Pearl does. Look at their mastea series.

  • @suoupavlichenko1 personally I only use the gizmo for 4th C for C# D and Eb I use the c and c# key if that helps any with your extended range.

  • @Koyko200 you can't buy an inline flute with a split E mechanism no company does that after you buy it you would have to send it off to have whats called a donut (which is also known as a g disc) placed in the mechanism. The split E mechanism is only for offset G flutes.

  • @invaderrekon the gizmo key is the 4th key on the end of the flute foot joint. It lowers the lowest note from a C to a B and can greatly stablize the highest octave(4th C and above)

  • Did the dolce come with plugs to put in the open holes?

  • what does the gizmo key do?

  • @shapeofcallinghome I'm actually not anymore! go miyazawa, I tried a few flutes and the miyazawa is just the right one for me.

  • I want a custom white gold flute from Pearl. I want a masta though. I love my Elegante. I want an inline G, E Facilitator, C# Trill Key, & D# Roller. I have all that on my Elegante but not the E Facilitator but I have a G Disc.
