The first stop on this little railfanning adventure was Peachblow Road north of Lewis Center, Ohio. The first train I saw there was Norfolk Southern 850 with a former Southern Pacific AC4400 as the third locomotive in line. Unfortunately, I was unable to get my video camera out in time to shoot it. The second train was 379 and 877 soon followed it with an approach signal (explaining the train's slow speed). After that, I moved down the line about a mile to Shanahan Road, which is closer to Lewis Center. The Lewis Center signals are shown in the first scene from this location. The first train I recorded there was 17M. Soon after 17M passed by, a clear signal appeared for 48Z and it soon came through at sunset. The shot after that is from even further down the line in the village of Lewis Center. I was expecting a CSX train, but instead, NS 305 went west up the line.
***TRAINS***
1. Eastbound, NS 379
2. Eastbound, NS 850
3. Westbound, NS 17M
4. Eastbound, NS 48Z
5. Westbound, NS 305
