I can honestly say that I have been looking for this song for years and I always thought someone else sang it, that is why I never found it. It has bought tears to my eyes to finally find it and in this moment of my life when everything is not going so good. It´s true what they say women where much more beautifull before, she was so beautifull. thak you K.D for singing such a beautifull song tonight just for me and my sadness.

Not a "perfect" rendition of the song, but not bad. Lauren Bacall, that's another story. Incredible beauty, almost unworldly.

Oh, boy...Jeff, what're you trying to do? KILL me with STEAMINESS!?!? I can't take the combined assault of k.d. lang and Lauren Bacall!! "Beautiful" is an incredible understatement, here. Bogie was a lucky, lucky man. (This is one of the reasons I love classic Hollywood, even though I used to call them "old movies." Bacall herself once said, "It's not an old movie if you haven't seen it." So true.)
