Classiy Brit R&B from the Bo Street Runners on the incredibly rare 1964 Oak ep. Featuring demo versions of their "hit" Bo Street Runner ( with which they won Reddifusions "Ready Steady Win" beat group contest ,thus securing them a deal with Decca and re-recording their winning entry ) and this smooth take on the Jimmy Reed classic. Most of these came in picture sleeves with a photo of the group at a starting line of a race ,alas not this one. Mint copies with sleeve now very popular with Japanese millionaires as status symbols...............................
Cheers for sharing!!!

A true rarity and a good one ! Appears on the story of oak records a must have comp (on the lp there's the Herd "good citizen").Mike Patto appeared on the Bo Street Runners last single in 1966.
