That's cause he was one of the best characters on the show. Such an awesome actor. Doesn't compare to the new guy.

I've been watching the first two seasons of the show since last month. I really love it. I saw this episode yesterday evening, I'm so sad Gideon quit... Can't believe he won't be there anymore :(( I feel like an orphan lol. I know he's just a character but I don't know why it's difficult to see him leaving and never coming back.

i'd definitely love to see an episode where Patinkin guest starrs on an episode and team up with Rossi. I'd LOVE to see Gideon's view on Rossi.
