Getting some thoughts out about my experiences of being the first Jew a few people have met, dealing with antisemitism, and the sadness of negative stereotyping.
@MsCrowQueen New York and New Jersey are more accepting of Jews because of the higher concentration of Jews there. There are hardly any Jews here, which is why there is so much fear and hatred. People are afraid of what they don't understand.
I've met many jews in my time, and so far i didnt really meet a jew with the stereo types.
Antisemitism really bothers me. Around where I grew up personally speaking, there was a few jews but everyone was very excepting of it. I dont think I met a antisemitic person. Its a shame that there is still this problem going on in various places.
