  • No I am not. I also drove a hydrogen vehicle from GM.

  • No.I'm not stupid. I meant engine.

"The CVT transmission and electric motor are housed together in a single unit and mated to an Atkinson cycle 2.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine with variable intake cam timing making 155 HP and 136 lb-ft of torque. Backing that is a trunk mounted nickel-metal hydride battery cooled with cabin air instead of a dedicated air conditioning system and charged by the motor/generator as well as regenerative braking."

  • The Ford Fusion Hybrid is one of the best Hybrids to date.

  • What u heard wasn't the engine ..it was the electric motor revving its self to generate power to the drive train...And how would you rate the hydrogen car from GM compared to this vehicle

  • Out of battery, needed to charge.

  • So why did the engine start if it has an all electric speed of 47 MPH?

  • the biggest problem with hybrid tech is heat and future reliablity. I still dont trust it.

As well as in my place gas is very cheap and the techincal people there are cant fix hybrids.

still going to drive a normal car or big SUV

  • Are you traveling with someone from Ford?

  • So, by "engine" does she mean "batteries" and no one wants to be the one to correct her?
