Religion should have no factor all that should matter are his qualifications, experience and integrity and of course that he represents the people. He has already successfully proven all of these things through being Governor or Massachusetts, with the US Olympics and with the multi-billion dollar company and companies he has both created and successfully run. I would vote for him. I only hope he will be willing to run for the presidency.
It's about time someone takes a deeper look into Romney, I think. Alot of people are taking one look at him and as soon as they find out he's a certain religion they freak. I wish more people would take the time like you seem to be doing and go for the gold.
Are people not respononding to this because they see it as merely an advertisement as well? There is no news here, no reason to root for or against MItt.
Can you imagine putting this kind of rhetoric out if he were Muslim? There would be people foaming at the mouth with outrage. I need to learn more about Mitt, but the fact he's Mormon means as much to me as saying someone else is Christian. It doesn't matter.
Mitt is the man! If there was ever a time where we needed a Mormon in the White House... it's now. Not because he's Mormon... but because he happens to be the best candidate and he happens to be Mormon. It shouldn't be a problem. Harry Reid, Senior Democtratic party leader is Mormon. Mike Leavitt, Secretary of Health and Human Services, is Mormon. Senator Orrin Hatch, prominent Republican Senator, is Mormon. Why not the President? They seem to do well in Politics.

Its a shame... he is qualified but if he believes the crud Mormonism is, then what else will he fall for.

This isn't news--it's an advertisement for a book.

I can't wait until people get to know him better. He's truly a remarkable leader - we need someone just like him in the white house
