@castleblanca I'll correct you: there used to be no taxi-way next to the tunway but during the last reconstruction of Tallinn airport a new taxi-way was constructed so planes can leave the runway quickly after landing.

There interesting thing about the Tallinn airport, into which I fly every year when I visit friends there, is that there is no taxi-way next to the runway. Therefore, when I plane lands, it has to turn around and taxi back to the terminal on the runway. Look at the landing of this plane and watch what it does. It turns around on the runway and goes back in the direction from which it just landed.
Hence, when a plane lands, it cannot get off the runway and allow another plane to take off.
