Late 1960s era television for Dippity-Do styling gel. Regular Dippity-do was translucent pink; Extra Holding Dippity-do was translucent green and was described as "for body...easier setting." Orginally produced by Gillette, the brand was sold to the White Rain Company who marketed it nationwide and through online retailers as well. Currently, the Dippity-Do is out of production.

  • Its Lori (Bobbie Jo) Saunders of Petticoat Junction!!!!!

  • I used to plaster this stuff on my hair until it dried crunchy. LOL! Used to buy half gallons of the stuff and go to bed with it on and big rollers. I was really happy when they came out with the hot rollers. Thank god for those! ;D

  • With hair that went down to my butt, this styling gel was a godsend. The first time I used it on my older sister, she decided to have the gel on her entire head instead of going curler to curler like I preferred. I was so sure the directions said to use a third of the jar for the whole head, turned out it was supposed to be a third of a cup. Who would think to measure out Dippity-Do anyway???
