  • I heard this speech in the song "Our Solemn hour" and I thought, "Hay! That's Sir Churchy! So I had to look it up. I don't favor war, but this war was my favorite to study.

  • Why can't modern politicians speak like Churchill instead of the meaningless drivel they put out here in Ireland.

  • According to Actor Norman Shelley, Churchill was too drunk in the evenings to do the radio addresses, so Norman did them for him.
