@raydar670 He wouldn't have exploded. After a minute or so there would be some noticeable swelling, but humans don't explode in vacuums. He wouldn't have frozen either; exothermic transfer doesn't happen that quickly. The only immediate injuries would be the blunt impacts from smashing into the sides of the hatch, and possibly burst eardrums.
