This video shows a landing at Singapore Changi airport with the plane arriving runway 20R from the North-east (from Bangkok). Upon touch down, the Trent sleeve opens while the thrust reverser kicks into action.

  • hoo baby look at those reverse thrusters just beautiful d last time i saw it was in zurich n baby it was awesome

  • Glad u like it....its counter-intuitive to hear the engines revving up when you know the plane is trying to decelerate.

  • Title says "landing Singapore reverse thrust"

  • Listen carefully people.... she is actually saying TWENTY four degress celsius, which is actually 75.2 degrees fahrenheit, so at 76F she's close enough for me!... by the way, for those of you that haven't flown Singapore Airlines before, they truly are the #1 Airline in the world to fly with, and have the warmest, most genuine cabin staff in the sky. I've flown many miles and with many carriers in my time, so I can say this with confidence.

  • B777 rocks!!!

  • @Boeingloverzz lol it's ok i'm not mad.

  • @MrIrreversible Owh, you're right... Sorry, I misunderstand that one... :(

  • @Boeingloverzz it's 24 -.-

  • @robaveley Actually, it does sound like she said "44 degrees". That caught my attention because my first thought was "Damn, that's hot!" I re-played it a couple times and it still sounds like she said "44 degrees." (I'm sure she actually said "24", but with her accent and unusual diction/pronunciation, it really does sound like "44".)

  • @windomes300 Yeah, I feel the same way. I mean, I know how thrust reversers work, but as you said, it's strange to hear the engines revving up when you're trying to slow down!

  • @RaptoF22 The title is in English, and "sin" probably means "without" in some other language.

  • wow, I thought all SIA aircraft had ptv

  • 44 degree celsius?? Crazy!!

  • B777 is my favourite amongst commercial airliners.Firstly coz of its main landing gear @ secondly coz of its huge engines!Absolutely fantastic!

  • Sounded like someone was chewing somthin
