@jgreed5 Lenny could've been an insurance investigator, is really not that relevant. John G. was the real rapist, but he killed him a long time ago. He did not make up John G. but his memory loss started when his wife got raped, the tattoo on his chest is what reminds him that his wife is dead is not actually part of what he can still remember, but since the last thing he remembers is his wife in the bathroom almost dead he assumed she was killed there. Just like inception, nobody ever tries to get the point of the movie but instead try to "crack" it to show how "clever" they are. (and inadvertently show the opposite.)

whoops.. tiredness caused me to get Dod's name wrong.. but anyway, i think Sammy's wife was Dod's sister and Dod was looking for revenge!
