Man claims world record by smashing melons with his head

Every two years, the small Australian town of Chinchilla pays tribute to its melon harvest by holding the Chinchilla Melon Festival where people not only eat, but engage in some of the wackiest activities using watermelons, like headbutting. This year, 29-year-old local melon picker John Allwood smashed his way into the Guinness Book of World Records by headbutting 40 watermelons in 58 seconds. 'Melon-skiing' proved to be another popular event at the festival.
