@sabertooth1980 When I pray I am asking God to do something because I can't do it, so God could provide you with the evidence you need to Believe. Next God did not create you as an atheist, Satan and yourself have made you an atheist. No, because when I pray I get results, I have witnessed them. I pray every night for many different people such as friends, family, Believers and atheist, for my enemies and so on.

@something392 Then there are the implications of what would happen with what you are asking of that god.

You are asking that god to help me see the light, right?

You are trying to get some being that I don't believe in to change my mind in a way that doesn't require evidence, reasoning, or my intelligence.

In other words, you are wishing for your god to brainwash me.

What a lovely sentiment.

In your religion, there is some sort of 'cosmic plan' set up by your god right? I mean several stories you have cited you believed that your god was speaking to you.

And according to you, you think that this god has made each of us the way we are right?

And here is your little prayer telling your god that he made a mistake making me an atheist.

@something392 Also. Prayer. A great way of pretending to do something without actually doing something.

When a religious type says "I'll pray for you", what they are actually saying is "I don't care enough to do anything more. So here are some happy thoughts."

Tell me, how often do you actually pray for someone?

And have you thought of the implications of your prayer?

And whiles you equate prayer to be 'someone thinking of you'. I do not.

This little bit that you are tacking on is what most would roll their eyes to and give a muttering "whatever", then they would walk away glad that the conversation is over.

Which is of course I would rather do. However, you keep talking to me, and thus the conversation keeps getting fed.
