Real de Catorce, once a mining ghost town, now attracts visitors to it's high sierra location, over 9000 feet, entered by a 1 1/2 long mile tunnel. Here is an air of Huichol mystery, and miracles are recorded in the church Saint Francis. Zacatecas is a UNESCO World Heritage site beauty. After traveling across desert, the arrival in Zacatecas is like Dorothy landing in Oz. When she opened the door, the movie turned from black and white to Technicolor.
