In the same context the bible also condones stoning children, owning slaves, and treating women like they're pieces of shit. Which I'm sure in your family is kinda what it's like anyway.

My problem with homosexuality is that it has become sosially accepted when the Bible clearly says homosexuality is an abomination. If a person is gay we should help him become straight and if he doesn't then don't flount it in everyone's faces.

Also I don't believe that we can convert people, I believe that the Holy Spirit does that, we might plant a seed of faith but it is the Holy Spirit that does all the work.

well i think you have good points to slavery and the killing and the segregate awsome that finally a man of god that sees the hyprocrosy and doesnt promote hated and death Jesus, GOd , or any belief promotes caring and not hating etc then great guy that you are. your highly intelligent christian and you looked into all belief and views without hatred or converting thank you a free christian free from the hatred that is out there.

Thank you for all your kind words, I just follow the 2 most important commandments, LOve God with all your heart, soukl, and mind and love your neighbor as yourself.
There are many more like me out there, they are just in the background persuing God's kingdom but I do believe that believers have to speak out against hypocrisy because it gives non-believers a wrong impression of who God is.
