  • Yeah just take it at your own pace. Don't feel bad if you can't do it quickly. It can be difficult, not because of the lack of vegetables, but because other people can make it extremely hard for you. Other people will sometimes treat you badly because of your choice. My suggestion, ignore them, find other people who are also interested in vegetarianism and talk with them. Or, come online and talk with the millions of veges here.

  • I recommend reading, because once you learn what else your eating when you eat animal products, it's like there was no other option for me but to stop eating meat. It ws so discusting and cruel that I became vegan in a week with no intentions before reading these books. You won't know until you do your reserch. Read "Skinny Bitch" then read "the Food Revolution" for more in depth info. These books provide a strong case to be a vegan.

  • Does anyone know where I can find clips of the origional Oprah show that he was on? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

  • @Guardian016 Lame.

  • @sherribailey75 Thanks, well said!

  • @NYLISE1 Why would you want to put something that died in your body? That's so vile. And bad Karma too. Even if livestock didn't emit a devastating amount of gas for our environment (which it does, as it has been proven by everyone from the United Nations down to every small farmer) -- the idea of putting into your living, breathing body, the carcass, body parts of something that was once alive is totally bizarre. Our ancestors did it because they didn't know any better. But we know better now.

  • Good luck feeding the world vegans. The poor can afford to shop at whole foods. Figured you'd like to know. And the largest source of greenhouse gases isn't the production of livestock. It's swamps. And I would bet not one of you celery chewing fools would dare dry up a swamp "for the environment". As with every theory, your theory that agriculture is the worst thing since the Holocaust has holes in it. And these holes are large enough to make your statements irrelevant.

  • He looks like he eats humans.

  • I'm getting me a hummer now yay!

  • @formula1fan07 Responsibilities only come with rights if you're a moral agent. The capacity to have responsibilities and be a moral agent is not required to have rights. Our society already recognizes rights of beings who aren't moral agents.
