I have the same problems. Just >3 years and out of warranty. They also go away after 40 minutes.

I'v got this TV and i have lines on it too. They seem to go away after about 30 minutes and the TV warms up but at a cold start. Terrible. I'v had it for 6 years. Time for a new TV.

i am having the same problem with my tv. i think i have the best buy extended warranty though and plan on returning it tomorrow.
