@optisoft12 Sorry you feel that way! We are not selling anything in this video -- we are providing a way for non-Asterisk professionals to become familiar with the Asterisk environment. The free downloadable software shown and used in the video creates a fully-functional IP-PBX from a standard PC.

@optisoft12 In that case, the "Rapid Live" utility mentioned in the video would suit you. Although it is not recommended as a substitute for an operational system, it does prepare your "box" by setting up the Linux/Asterisk/DAHDI environment so that you can become familiar with the Asterisk option. The Rapid Live is available for free download from our Web site in either ISO or IMG format.

@XorcomPBX I was looking for "Asterisk PBX Creation and Configuration in Only 3 Minutes".. basically take a blank box then install and setup asterisk to make and receive basic phone calls. Nothing overly fancy. I don't know if that can be done in a 3 minute video, but it would be nice. I'm looking at switching to Asterisk from Cisco because of its low "free" software license cost. Cisco is way too expensive.

I went to vontrump.com and found the voip products available there really cool. I am able to make international calls even.
