St. Vincent is one person, the singer/guitarist. She's from Texas, wrote her albums in New York.

You mostly got it right, except Annie Clark isn't "just the singer", she's the main guitarist, and writes and arranges mostly everything you hear on the album and live.

Great song, Great performance, but is it that hard to get a good shot of the lead singer? Or how about cutting to the music or show the instrument that is playing the solo?

St. Vincent is just the singer Annie Clark. I believe she was raised in Dallas, Texas. She's amazing :D
