Broken Again Ch. 20 part 1

"Hey"
I jumped out of the couch and held my chest, my heart was going a billion miles an hour. I finally realized it was... "Oh, hey Joe...."
"so? Sitting down here, alone... thats 'normal'." He did those finger things when he said Normal, which is funny to me, but very annoying at the same time.
"Yeah..." I replied looking down, not willing to look into those eyes i fell head over heels for.
It got really awkward after. It was like we ran out of things to say to each other.. Which isnt surprising, considering the lack of commutation between us.
The silence was broke with,
"Would you like to go for a walk?" He asked, looking up at me, he was also fiddling with his figures, which made me think he was nervous.
"um...er... Sure, why not." I said, and put an extra happy smile on my face.
Which really made him smile alot.
As we started to go towards the back door, i got those "Butterfly's" in my tummy. Those one's where i knew i really liked someone.
And those thoughts made me wonder.
We reached outside, and made our way up the back steps. EVERYTHING was covered with snow. It seemed to glisten under the beautiful bright stars and moon.
"Shall we?" Joe joked while putting his right arm up, as he was to escort me.
"We shall." I linked my left arm into Joe's right.
His smile grew bigger.
We got out of the back yard and onto the side walk.
"This is the 1st time, in a long time, since ive actually seemed happy." He said to me looking towards me.
I couldn't think of any thing to say.
"Its cause im with you." I replied.
My heart Just sunk!!!! NO CLAIRE!!!!! WHY???!!! why did i just flirt!!????? Oh my gawd, im sooooo stupid!! Im not dating him!!
Now im going to give him the wrong signals!!! UUUUAHHHHHAHAHGGGHHHHH! help! stupid stupid STUPID BRAIN OF MINE!!!
Joe stopped walking. so did i.
I looked at him, about to say, "Uh, thats not what i meant." But before I said anything.
I felt Joe hugging me, tightly. His smile was soooo adorable right now. He couldnt stop smiling.I was huggin him back, and we probably stood there hugging for 3 minutes,
until, he whispered into my ear, "Please be with me, again?"
WHAAAAATTTT!!!!??????? oh NO! what do i say?! What do I say?!!!!???!!!!
he stopped hugging me.
I guess he could sense my confusion. He looked at me, still smiling extremely big.
"I know, this is weird... but... it wont be like last time, or the time before that." he said so comforting, and a tiny smirk appearered on my face.
"So is that a Yes?" He asked hopefully.
"So... where do you want to take me on a date?" I asked jokingly, looking up at him smiling.
all of a sudden i was being picked up by Joe, and he was spinning me around in circles! He was soooooooo happy... it was un-believe able.
We ended up falling into the big pile of snow along the side walk. I was laughing very hard, yet Joe was too. I sat up and looked down at Joe.
I didnt think there were enough words to describe this moment. Joe then sat up to, and wrapped his arms around me.
"So... can we forget the past?" he asked, while setting his chin down on my collar bone(right next/beside the neck).
"I think i could do that for you." i replied.
He think kissed my neck, and then looked up at me.
" theres an exception though." I said.
"What?" he said worried.
