Harry Johnson and Doug Felt showed how to use bones for rhythm and percussion along with the dulcimer. The Memphis Dulcimer Gathering & Folk Festival was held September 25 & 26 at Second Baptist Church. The event included two days of wrokshops, jams, mid-day concerts, vendors and a finale concert.   • They are called "bones". Originally they were truly rib bones. Now mostly you find them carved of wood.
