In June of 2005 I continued sharing with the church.

In this talk, I reveal how I was hurt as a child, and how God has brought about a miracle of forgiveness in my heart towards my parents. Family therapy was instrumental in helping us together see our history in a different light. Seeking a heartfelt and flowing forgiveness brought me to Grace Covenant Church in search of the power of Christ. Malachi 4 is now quoted in our family, "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." My parents offered me an unexpected gift, a removal of the childhood curse, to be replaced by a blessing.

  • There is no such thing as an innocent child. The World is fallen and all should die. However, God in his Grace and Mercy laid down his life for our redemption and if you believe, humble yourself and ask for forgiveness you will be saved.

    Kind Regards,

    Paul

  • There is a fine line between discipline and abuse,My father was strict,at that time, I thought he was hard on me,but years later, I learned something very valuable,He said if he never disciplined me,the world would have, through PRISON, When I became a Correctional Officer in a max prison,I saw the light. (Raise up a child in the way he should go,and when he is Old he shall not depart from it)

  • What if your father burned you with a red hot cattle branding Iron, and beat you from child hood to teen years with an electrical cord, and forbid you to eat regularly?

  • he who has an ear to hear let him or her hear!

  • @gangstayakuza yes because if you dont discipline your child he will not respect you or God. you whipp them on the butt you dont beat them. if your child ends up going to hell because you didnt raise them right you could say you hate them that you let them end up in hell. you disciple your child because you love them and you want them to be saved just like God disciplins us because he loves us. my parents spanked me when i was young and today i thank them

  • What does your comment have to do with Jesus Christ???

  • Proverbs 13:24, "He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him."

  • i forgot what bible verse it was... but it says something about hating your child if you don't whip him.... lemme find it
