@AngusRocker22 I mean, unless you're a sell out, the way is goes is, you make your music the way you like and express it in your own way, and there will be people who like it and people who don't.
@AngusRocker22 Maybe he'll do another to your liking. But musicians don't really make music to the liking of the audience. It's impossible to please everyone's tastes. Plus, I dunno about you, but I wouldn't want to spend my career as a musician playing and making music I didn't like and that wasn't 100% me. That kind of defeats the whole purpose of being a musician.
@kinobiheart In your opinion those are all good songs. Personally, I think Skeleton Dance is great and Whale on This is mediocre at best. I can do without the other songs. I was disappointed. When I heard that Bucky was doing a banjo album I was so excited, because I saw him live with a banjo before. Then we get this....meh
@AngusRocker22 How can you say this is a bad album? Just because it has a few...odd.. songs, doesn't mean the whole album is bad. Skeleton Dance is a good song, Whale on This is a good song, Four O 'clock for Dub Down is a good song, Overnight the Animatronics is a good song, Lafayette's Landing is a decent song, pretty much every song on this album is good except for a couple.
They aren't among his worst albums...it's just expirimental as are lots of his other albums/collaborations. To call them his "worst" albums is pretty harsh considering everyone interprets different types of music differently. In your case, you don't like them and that's fine but you shouldn't label them as his worst works just because you dont agree with them. If ya think about it...it's what makes Buckethead, Buckethead. His ability to play all these genres is just pure genious.
@AngusRocker22 In my opinion NIASS is one of his bests. :)

@mel577 that's a pretty pointless comment given that I didn't try to speak for anyone else

@Emulate92 I've seen buckethead live numerous times and I've seen what he can do with a banjo "experimenting" and this one was a flop

Every album has its haters and its lovers, and its bad and good tracks.
