[MOCK] Widescreen Nationwide 1982 Titles in Synfig Studio

Here's the penultimate set of Nationwide titles from 1982. This was the period where the BBC decided that Nationwide had to become tediously dull so that they could kill it off and replace it with the ill-fated Sixty Minutes.

The animation uses two Synfig Studio techniques I haven't used before - following an outline, and duplicate layers. And it takes a *long* time to render! I drew the Nationwide logo in Inkscape, imported it into Synfig Studio and then converted the resulting outlines from normal Outlines to Advanced Outlines. There is only ever one red and white NW logo at any one time - the rest are all duplicate symbols created programatically using two "Duplicate Layers" working on the same "Translate Layer".

I'm really pleased Rory Clark suggested I do this set of titles a while back - I learnt an awful lot about Synfig Studio doing this animation. As usual, Rory very kindly supplied me with a video file to use as source material.

Stunning! If you hadn't put "mock" in the title, I'd have assumed that you somehow obtained and HD-scanned a 35mm master copy of the animation. Very well done.
