I am a woman and this happened to me and it happened to us as children of divorce.

It happens all the time both mothers and fathers are affected. Some do it to each other.

So do not isolate this as a father only sorrow.

We should be on side of what this really is, parents forcing their child to choose and punishing the other parent.

Horrible damage to the child. So the best thing is to get out of the way of selfishness and STOP hurting ones children.

I can feel your passion and pain. I'm sorry that you have experienced such horrible treatment.

This video is not gender specific. If you pay attention to the details, you will find that it addresses all parents not just mothers. It is however written from a father's point of view because I am one. That is my real life experience. Just like you have yours.

This video clearly shows that no parent should be selfish enough to destroy their own children. Man or woman...

This really needs to stop. The punishment for this type of crime should be very harsh. I think they should be held financially responsible for all counseling and family reunification expenses, Family field trips and and every expense it takes to pull this family back together.

I certainly agree with everything that you have stated with one exception, I would take it much further than that.

After studying the effects that this type of abuse has on children and living through the hell caused by this type of reprehensible behavior and selfishness, I would support Criminal charges and penalties against these perpetrators.

It is sad to say but many men suffer at the hands of women who mistreat them by using children as a weapon and who disregard the teaching that children are the fruit of marriage and not the reason for marriage.

More attention needs to be brought to this issue and soon.

Thanks for your thoughts on this matter. Unfortunately, you are right on the mark. There are greater and greater numbers of women using and abusing their children to attack and control their ex-spouses.

That IS NOT to say that there aren't fathers using the same kind of tactics against excellent mothers. It goes both ways, but the overwhelming statistics are certainly against fathers, and always against the precious children.

My ex left 5 years ago when things got tough and took my Boys from me I havn't seen them since she just left and the courts did nothing too stop her she left Mi and moved to Tx I miss them so much and would do anything to move there so I could see them not just pics off Facebook I get to talk to them on the phone now and then and I send Christmas presents I miss them so much!

I am so sick and tired of ignorant Americans thinking that children are removed from good parents because the parents did something wrong. Government agencies should not be allowed to "manage" families. When you mix power,politics, and money into family, it is killed. I've seen my fair share of parents who falsely accuse and destroy the lives of their children simply for the basis of custody. WRONG.

Rick, So sorry to hear you are another victim. I agree with you that parents should not do this horrible (unpunishable) crime! I am also a father and a victim of this crime by the mother.

I am so sorry to hear that and just know you are not alone.. I have been living in that pain for close to 3 years... I call all the time and never get to talk to him.. I use youtube!! Thanks for this video and thanks for your excellent website. You are right that PA is child abuse, and that children are the primary victims. The irony is that the kids won't realized it until they are adults, and it is too late. There are so many stories out there by adults lamenting the loss of a huge chunk of their childhood which will never be recovered. Please check my own video. Thanks.
