Where did you hear about Mavis about to sell her car for cash? (Just wondering). I know Mavis and I never heard that one. Maybe she kept it from us. At the time Prince sign her, he had seen her in LA doing a show. She wasn't broke. He came backstage and said he wanted to work with her. She wasn't sure if she wanted to do it. she was about to sign with another label. I'm not discrediting you. I'm just wondering if one of the magazines or someone put that out and it wasnt' true. Thanks!

If so its ok but state it so all will understand there are many white people that suffer in horrable ways in the world Its time for the blacks to lay down the victim toarch to another group shed some light on other minoritys....God forbid do i ever know more worthy causes in the United States, The Poor Old negro era has passed times have changed time to work side by side and no special treatment for blacks anymore but to people who need it black or white , New time has come.

This is a beautiful melody and sing well, But I really never listen to the lyrics, I think it is a black racist song, Blood is thicker then time? Whos blood? the blacks man family line of the Blood of Christ? (We Kill our one kind everyday?) whos one kind? who is killing there one kind the blacks killing other blacks? that is what I see in this song and a phone number to send money, Ok dont get me wrong black are as good as any race but sing to everyone Mavis, Or is this song only to the blacks

This song and her voice are so amazing. For me she's one of the best female singers ever..
