More footage from our day putting up the plastic cover. This is a summary of the 1.5 hours it took us to pull it over the frame, roughly centre and align it and put on the temporary battens.
After that we had to remove the temporary battens, tension it section by section (18 in all) before cutting door holes and wrapping it tightly at the gable ends. All that will be shown in Part 4.

@kevleitrim yes, would have been easier on a calm, sunny day to lift up from one side and drag across. But waiting for better weather would have cost us another season - and membership would have dropped even further (already down given bad weather that year).
Also v hard to organise people to help at the same time - esp given low morale in the club then. So we just had to got for it. Massive weight of plastic & strong wind also influenced choices on the day.

lads , lads thats painful to watch! should have done it on a still day when it was warmer, plastic streches in the summer, theres a proper method for puttin on a tunnel skin n that aint it!!! LOL still easy when you r a gardener n not an archer.!if it sags in summer u can slacken off the u bolts at timber rail n tighten down rail to strech skin , it will last longer. cheers weel done for effort!
